Hiring Process

  • Review our open jobs and apply

  • All applicants are reviewed

  • The candidate pool is narrowed based on qualifications and job requirements

  • Candidates complete an initial screen via phone or recorded video

  • Some positions within Exelon’s Operating Companies require you to pass an assessment during the hiring process

  • Some positions require passing an Edison Electric Institute (EEI) test

  • Qualified applicants are encouraged to take EEI practice tests, using the User Name: "Exelon" and Password: "Operator"

  • Practice tests are the same format and include the same concepts as the actual tests and informational brochures and tips are provided

  • The most qualified candidates will be interviewed by a panel of interviewers

  • The successful candidate(s) will receive a contingent offer

  • The successful candidate(s) provides their background information online (e.g., previous employment, education)  

  • Our external vendor completes the background investigation and drug screen process

  • Background and drug screen clearance is confirmed with the candidate

  • A mutually agreed-upon start date is provided
