PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION


Processing of all Departmental Invoices, Weekly Timesheets Input, and Customer Requests.  Plan, schedule and assist supervisor(s) with assignment of all non-emergent maintenance work.  Perform general analysis and prepare reports to support business operations. Monitor and coordinate activities to support operational performance management (e.g. safety, reliability, service level, productivity, etc.).  Track, maintain, analyze and provide current information on the operations business scorecard or key performance indicators (KPIs).

 

Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Processing of all Departmental Invoices, Weekly Timesheets, and Customer Requests. 

 

- Plan, schedule and assist supervisor(s) with assignment of all non-emergent maintenance work for Atlantic City Electric Facilities Department. 

 

- Provide direction to the Maintenance Department for Corrective maintenance repairs, predictive maintenance, preventative maintenance, and the execution of modification and projects.

 

- Determine procedures, drawing, equipment, estimated time, materials, and specialized labor required to perform planned work packages.

 

- Formulate and document appropriate plans for maintenance work in tailored work packages and instructions. 

 

- Conduct field walk downs, when appropriate, to identify and analyze corrective & preventive maintenance, modification, and project activities.  

 

- Monitor and coordinate activities to support operational performance management (e.g. safety, reliability, service level, productivity, etc.).

- Track, maintain, analyze and provide current information on the operations business scorecard or key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Prepare and analyze detailed standard and non-standard reports.

- Provide standard and ad-Hoc reports from the Company CMMS.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum:

- Bachelors degree in Business or Engineering AND 2-5 years related business experience, or in lieu of Bachelors degree, a minimum of 6-10 years experience in craft or discipline in which he/she has developed work packages and/or scheduled field orders. 

- General understanding of maintenance standards, work plans, building codes, processes and practices, business fundamentals, and performance metrics in the specific functional area supported by this position (e.g. facilities, asset management, electric or gas operations, customer service, transmission and substation, distribution system operations, regulatory and external affairs, transmission operations and planning).


- General proficiency in standard software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project), specialized business technologies and applications (e.g. asset suite, workforce management, project management, PassPort, CIS, EPS, forecasting, outage management) to retrieve and analyze data in support of business needs.

- General analytical skills for project evaluation including analysis of projects with economic, financial, risk and decision analysis.

- Customer driven with good oral and written communications skills and general analytical, problem solving and project management skills.

- General knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of performance analysis (trending, root cause and gap analysis) benchmarking and audit compliance.

- Ability to analyze organizational data and problems, interpret and recommend alternative courses of action, and implement intervention strategies to attain performance targets.

 

- Valid drivers license or ability to obtain.


Preferred:

- Bachelors degree and some relevant post-undergraduate coursework.

 

- Experience Developing & Managing Projects.

- Provide technical and administrative direction/guidance to work crews via creation of work package instructions to ensure safe and complete work processes.

- Interface and collaborate with all levels of management, from multiple organizations.

- Provide project management over planning initiatives and work practices.

- Select or make procurement recommendation for materials. 

- Plans and coordinates the work activities for Craft Employees.

- Interfaces with the supervisors of the craft employees engaged in the execution of the preventative/corrective maintenance activities within assigned regional operating area.

- Provides input into the planning, implementation and execution of the Operations maintenance and reliability programs.

- Determines manpower necessary for scheduled and emergent operating work to ensure maximum utilization of crews.

- Actions have direct impact on reliability and customer satisfaction goals, the public, political, and regulatory opinion of the company. 

- Provide information / guidance to Craft Employees regarding scheduled assignments to ensure complete work processes.

- Interface and collaborate with all levels of management, from multiple organizations.

- Interfaces with the supervisors of the field crews engaged in the execution of work.

- Determine manpower necessary for scheduled and emergent work to ensure maximum utilization of field crews.

- Actions have direct impact on customer satisfaction goals, the public, political, and regulatory opinion of the company.
